17-4PH stainless steel stockholders and suppliers, delivering to the whole world. We are suppliers of 17-4PH stainless steel round bar and flat bar. 17-4PH is a corrosion resistant grade which is soft and ductile in the solution annealed condition. Medium to high strength, good toughness and strength is obtained by the appropriate ageing treatment. As a martensitic precipitation hardening stainless it is characterized by high tensile strength and high yield strength obtained by solution annealing, followed by a single or double low temperature age hardening treatment. 17-4PH has corrosive properties comparable to 304 austenitic stainless steel in many environments.
Forging
Heat slowly and uniformly to 1180-1200ºC. Do not forge below 1010ºC. Hold at temperature for one hour prior to forging the component. Cool in air to room temperature. Forged components require solution annealing before any further heat treatment.

Alloy 347 (S34700) is stabilized stainless steel plate which offers as its main advantage an excellent resistance to intergranular corrosion following exposure to temperatures in the chromium carbide precipitation range from 800 to 1500°F (427 to 816°C). Alloy 347 stainless steel plate is stabilized by the addition of columbium and tantalum.
Alloy 347 stainless steel plate is also advantageous for high temperature service because of its good mechanical properties. Alloy 347 stainless steel plate offers higher creep and stress rupture properties than Alloy 304 and, particularly, Alloy 304L, which might also be considered for exposures where sensitization and intergranular corrosion are concerns.

Bharat Aerospace Metals supplies precision stainless steel strips of various grades in accordance with EN and ASTM/AISI standards. The most common grades are listed in the section "alloys".
Tolerances:
Normally, thickness and width tolerances of stainless steel strips are regulated by DIN EN 9445-2 and 9445-1 for precision strips.
If our customers require stricter tolerances we will co-operate with our cold rolling mill partner to provide the requested thickness tolerance.
For high tech applications, we are also able to supply tighter width tolerances than required by the standard (for instance as low as 0.01 mm).
Surface Finish and Mechanical Properties:
Normally, precision strips have a 2R (BA) finish.
The mechanical properties are regulated by EN and ASTM standards. However, we can also fulfill our customers' needs for precision strips with special mechanical properties. In such cases, we provide customized cold rolling of coils, during which the required mechanical parameters such as tensile strength and elongation can be achieved.
Edge of strips:
We supply precision stainless steel strips with the following edges:
Dimensions:
Our thickness range for precision strips is from 0.05 mm to 1.0 mm. Our minimum width is 3 mm. The maximal width of precision strips is normally about 650 mm. We can also supply coils of precision stainless steel strip only 0.05 mm thick with a width up to 1250 mm.
Inner Diameters of Coils:
Typical inner diameters are 300 mm, 400 mm, 508 mm.
Upon request, we can offer coils with inner diameters of 200 mm, 250 mm or even non-standard customized inner diameters.

316 Stainless Steel - used for food and surgical stainless steel. Also known as marine grade stainless steel due to its increased resistance to chloride corrosion compared to type 304. 316L is an extra low carbon grade of 316, generally used in stainless steel watches. Its resistance to chloride attack means it is often selected for use in marine atmospheres. 316Ti includes titanium for heat resistance, therefore it is used in flexible chimney liners.
316 stainless steel is a molybdenum-bearing grade. This addition gives the better overall corrosion resistance properties than type 304 and higher creep strength at elevated temperatures.

Bharat Aerospace Metals Metals are stockists and suppliers of 321 or 1.4541 stainless steel, available in plate, sheet, or bar forms, with the ability to meet profiling requirements and distribute globally from our UK facility.
Type 321 is a standard austenitic 18/8 chromium nickel alloy with the addition of Titanium making it an excellent choice in elevated temperature environments.
Used in particular applications within 450-850 degrees centigrade, 321 combines high strength with resistance to scaling and phase stability, Some typical areas of application are, furnace components, superheater and afterburner parts, compensators and expansion bellows.

Technical Information
Stainless steel 321 is an 18Cr-9Ni austenitic stainless steel stabilised with some titanium additions.
This kind of steel is one of the basic grades of the stainless steels range. Titanium bearing (carbide forming element) avoids intergranular corrosion, even on welded pieces without ulterior water quenching.
Alloys stainless steel 321 exhibit austenitic microstructures free of deleterious carbide precipitations but with CNTi precipitations at the grain boundaries. The grade contains some residual ferrite (≈4%) after solution annealing (1000-1100°C – 1832-2012°F) and water quenching.
